Should Teachers be Vaccinated, Should Kids Wear Masks in Class? + Curriculum Absurdities
As David has had his first vaccine, we ask is it fair, what about teachers, should they be vaccinated before other people? And there’s a row brewing about secondary school pupils, should they have to wear masks in the classroom on their return to school?
We look at reportedly ‘absurd curriculum’ ideas, from 21st century skills, WALT and WILF, dialogic and non-dialogic teaching, P4C, and ‘White Maths’ a number of issues have enlivened the Edusphere this week.
And is the DfE fit for purpose? On the one hand it has centralised its operations whilst saying it has set schools free, is that true, in and in the hands of a competent education secretary would it work better?
